Good thing Caroline has plenty of experience—and friends to help save her. Everyone remembers their first kiss, especially Caroline, because her first kiss was also the best kiss she has ever had. Luckily, Caroline is morally obligated to ensure Alex knows the truth even though she could be vilified for the deed. There is a lot of backstory for the characters within Save the Date, focusing on the aspects of their upbringing that has shaped their identities as well as the viewpoint into different family dynamics and the role it plays in shaping the person we become.

There is a larger portion of focus on Caroline but I think this is due to the strong, independent women in her life. Her friends are amazing and truly empowering, I want to be friends with them. Navigating the rocky road laid out before them proves especially difficult when outside factors test the strength of their belief in each other.

Save the Date is sweet, cute and something a little bit different. Told from dual first person perspectives Alex and Caroline SAVE THE DATE follows the second chance romance of sorts between Caroline Abbott, and Alexander Wilder.

Normally I love Monica’s books, but this one left me wanting more.

There were just too many players and too many things going on to get a real feel for the main characters. Instead of focusing on their chemistry and connection, the book felt more like setting the ground work for follow up books. I should have read the reviews on the US amazon site more carefully. This book is terrible. It’s ridiculous, the characters are super cheesy and not that likeable, and the whole premise is laughable. Save The Date by Monica Murphy is the first book in her brand new Dating series.

A quirky heroine and a swoony hero make this story of a fake relationship very relatable. Caroline is a woman who stays true to what she believes and Alex is a man that seems to go around with blinders on until Caroline. Throw in a cheating fiancée and bridezilla, a tip to Paris and a business deal and this story keeps you captivated with the romance between these two "fake" lovers.

Which I found strange cause usually Monica's chacters are strong willed etc.

I mean the way Caroline was afraid of Tiffany just pissed me off. On the other had a liked Alex, he was sweet and possessive when need be. But they both still have a lot learn about each other.
